About Elaine

From an early age, Elaine wanted to write stories.

Her first short story was published in her small town newspaper when she was in third grade.

Her first novel, Roses for Chloe, a Berkley-Jove Haunting Hearts release in 1998 was an RWA RITA Contest finalist. Her next three books were Harlequin Superromance novels, one of which, Make Believe Mom, also went on to become a RITA finalist. In 2013, Elaine  took a leap of faith into indie publishing with her romantic thriller The Caverns, the first book in the Tennessee Mountain Home series.

Now living in the Shenandoah Valley, Elaine enjoys her two sweet dogs and sipping a glass of wine while gazing at the Blue Ridge Mountains from her back porch.

All of Elaine’s books are available from Amazon.com in Kindle ebook and paperback formats.
